A reminder to PARENTS of transitionally aged folks that if your son or daughter is 18 or older, we would love to have them join us for our weekly peer group on Tuesday’s from 1-3 PM, Wednesday’s 1-3 PM, as well as other adult-oriented activities. Have your child get acquainted with our other young adults and staff.

 

Kids Art Class every Wed 3:30 – 5PM with Janice at Wilmington office – Open to 6-18 year olds, meet weekly to work on different art projects. Supplies provided.

GAME TIME with Murph and AC at 2PM every Monday. Come to the FF Bratt office for an organized game afternoon. Got a favorite? Bring it with you! This group is open to all, and will meet every Friday afternoon.

ART CLASS! Friday’s at 1:00- 2:30PM At 26, an ongoing art class for the artistically inclined, or those just interested in learning something new, and having some fun. Open to all.

New! Cooking Class with Jayinee and LB – the last Friday of each month 1-2:30PM, at 26. Hone those culinary skills! Eat like kings and queens! Impress your friends with your kitchen skills.

 

New! NP’s Car Detailing Service – Available now! NP is starting a car detailing service based out of Brattleboro, but with the capacity to come to you! We offer both interior and exterior cleaning with professional equipment and quality. Choose from four different available packages. Grout Pond Aug 16 – (this replaces the Hampton Beach trip) Meet at 26 at 9AM to travel over to the Grout Pond in the Green Mtn. Nat’l Forest. Swimming, canoeing, fishing and picnicking. Meet us at the pond at 10AM if you don’t want to travel to Brattleboro. Leave the pond at 3, back in Bratt by 4PM.

Fall Canoe Trip Sept 13 – The early fall sequel to this summers Fish and Float. A 3-4 hour canoe trip down the Connecticut River. Launch at Ferry Rd in Brattleboro. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER for this trip by calling the Brattleboro office. Pre-registration helps us determine the number of canoe’s and accessories necessary. Open to all.

 

Wild Hopes Fundraiser at the Vermont Jazz Center Sept 16. With Jatoba and Fenibo, two of Brattleboro’s best bands on one bill! – Mark your calendars NOW! Join us for the first annual FF/Wild Hopes Silent Auction and Party at the VT Jazz Center in Brattleboro. Long time friends of FF JATOBA (www.jatobamusic.net ) and Fenibo (https://www.facebook.com/fenibo?sk=info) will rock the house, while items from New England sports teams, local artisans, and various services and products from local businesses will be available via a silent auction. Support FF’s mission, support local live music, and you’re in for a guaranteed good time! Tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. More info TBA.

 

Travel to the Land of Witches And Pirates, Salem, Mass 10/18  A trio of spooktacular museums await us in the nations most notorious Witchy town, Salem! The Witch History Museum, New England Pirate Museum, and the Witch Dungeon Museum all await us. The cost is $19, which gets you admission to all three museums! Pre-registration is REQUIRED if you want to ride in Clifford, the big red van, first come/first seated. Meet at Price Chopper at 8:30AM. Open to all.

Halloween Costume Party and Dance Oct 25 – At Wild Hopes Farm. Witches hair and eyeballs (spaghetti and meatballs) served at 6PM, dance from 7-8:30. Bonfire, friends, costume contests and dancing all await us! Pre-registration REQUIRED for the witches hair and eyeball feast.
